Cristian Lles is an economist in the BBVA Research Financial Systems Unit. His role is mainly focused on the analysis of European banking and financial systems. He previously completed an internship at Repsol in the Trading area.

He holds a Master's Degree in Finance from Universidad Carlos III (Carlos III University) in Madrid and a degree in Economics from the Universidad de Zaragoza (University of Zaragoza). Meanwhile, he complemented his university education with stays at Ghent University and on the MBA program at Baruch College (City University of New York).

He is currently preparing to sit the Level II CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) exam.
