María Fernanda Medina Cohen works as an Economist in BBVA Research Venezuela and is responsible for analyzing the external sector.

Prior to this position she was an intern in the Department of Economic Research of the Central Bank of Venezuela (2012-2013) and Coordinator of Financial Risk in another banking institution (2013-2015).

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Central University of Venezuela (2013) and she’s finishing a Master’s of Science in Stochastic Models from the Mathematical School of the Central University of Venezuela.
