Pablo Urbiola was a Senior Economist at the Digital Regulation and Trends unit of BBVA Research. His work focused on the analysis of the digital transformation of the financial sector and the implications for financial regulation and supervision. Since January 2019 he moved to Regulation and Internal Control, in the Regulation unit.

Pablo holds a double degree in Economics and Journalism from the Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
