After a significant deterioration in consumption due to the journey of protests that took place in some cities, we see an increase in consumption. In the celebration of the day of love and friendship in the country, the recovery of the restaurant, clothing and fuel sectors is highlighted.

• In the last week, consumption stands on positive ground with an annual growth in goods of 22% and a fall in services of 21%.
• Online channel purchases are slowing down in September while spending on clothing continues to recover.
• Household spending on clothing and restaurants continues to increase its share of total spending.
• An important upturn in consumption is observed in Medellín, Bucaramanga and Pereira while in Bogotá and Cartagena this recovery is minor.
• Fuel spending has reached new highs since the beginning of the pandemic in most cities.
