Claudia de Juan Peleteiro joined BBVA Research Asia in Hong Kong in February 2026.

Prior to joining BBVA, she worked as a Research Consultant at Oikos Eco, where she co-authored a publication focused on industrial decarbonization strategies and the competitive advantages of renewable energy. Her professional background also includes experience in financial analysis and modeling for energy assets at international firms such as Cero Generation and AFRY Management Consulting.

Claudia holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Leeds (UK). During her undergraduate studies, she served as a Financial Analyst for the university publication Leeds Finsights, where she analyzed monetary policies and their broader economic impact. Her primary research interests include macroeconomics, regulatory frameworks for the green transition, and the study of global financial markets.
