The Big Data Private Consumption Index grew by 16.7% YoY in November, showing a strong acceleration compared to previous months (7.7% in October, 10.5% in September).

He holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional del Callao and a Master's in Economics with honors from the ILADES-Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Chile). He has completed specialization courses in central banking, macroeconomics, and econometrics offered by the IMF, the central bank of Colombia, and the Central bank of Chile. He currently serves as a Senior Economist at BBVA Research.
Previously, he worked as an economic research consultant at the Business School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. His research interests focus on international macroeconomics and commodity markets, fields in which he has published in academic journals.He also teaches macroeconomics, monetary theory, and econometrics at the Universidad Científica del Sur.Latest publications
