César Rodríguez is an economist with over 17 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, quantitative modelling and scenario development for the Venezuelan economy.
His professional track record includes working as a Senior Economist at Mercantil Banco Universal, where he was responsible for monitoring macroeconomic trends and forecasting macro-financial variables to support strategic planning and the budgeting process. Previously, he worked at the Central Bank of Venezuela (2009-2021), where he led the compilation of public finance statistics and the development of economic policy scenarios.
He obtained a degree in Economics from the University of Los Andes (ULA) and a master’s degree in Finance from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Administration (IESA). Additionally, he is a professor of Microeconomics at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
