Sergio Galván has joined BBVA Research Big Data department as part of BBVA's Global Seeds rotational talent program. He has a degree in Economics and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Sergio has knowledge in economics, finance and programming, as well as experience using tools such as Pyspark, R, Python and SQL.

Before joining BBVA Research he was in Spark's risk unit and in Wholesale Credit Risk, focusing on portfolio monitoring in a multi-sector environment.
