BBVA Research estimations show that passenger car registrations fell marginally in June after correcting for monthly stationary effects. All in all, the second quarter of 2016 was closed with a 6.6% quarterly rise of sales, 2.5 pp more than in 1Q16.

Once the data is seasonally adjusted, BBVA Research estimations show that passenger car registrations were reduced by a monthly 9% in March, which was more than expected. All in all, the first quarter of 2016 closes with a rise in sales of 3,6% QoQ, 5pp more than in 4Q15.
After seasonal adjustments, BBVA Research estimates show that passenger car registrations slightly grew in February, which is in line with what was expected. Companies and particulars were responsible for this rise.
