Chile | Activity by sector anticipates an Imacec at around 3% YoY in April

Summary

Retail sales expanded 3.3% YoY above both our estimates and the market consensus, while manufacture output came out with a slight increase of 0.8% YoY (BBVAe: 1.0%; consensus: -2.0% YoY). All in all, aggregate activity figures anticipate an Imacec growth between 2.5% and 3.0% YoY in April. Meanwhile, unemployment rate remained stable at 6.1% in April.
