Summary

Central banks boost unconventional measures in an attempt to ease worries. Risk aversion continues to ease. Eurozone officials might be about to announce a coordinated recapitalization of the European banking sector. The BoE might have been bolder but the ECB also did more than expected. Activity data was more supportive in the US and remains resilient in emerging markets. In contrast, European indicators continue to point to deterioration.
