Spain: lower purchases by firms and rental companies explain July´s decrease in spite of higher private sales

After removing seasonal and calendar effects, BBVA Research´s estimates suggest that car registrations fell in July following lower-than-expected purchases by car rental companies. Overall, 390,000 car registrations are expected for the second half of 2014, meaning that the year will close at around 850,000 registrations.
