Mexico Banking Watch. The Mexican financial system retreated two places on the World Economic Forum’s Financial Development Index 2012, despite an improvement in its overall score

Mexico's score on the Global Financial Development Index improved by 0.09 points to 3.25 points. However, it fell back to 43rd place out of the 62 countries from 41st out of 60 in 2011
