LatAm Daily | Inflation data for Brazil and Mexico to be published this week
Summary
After a quiet start to the week, data for the beginning of June will likely show inflation moderating in Brazil and Mexico. In the former, we expect the IPCA-15 to fall significantly from 9.6% YoY in May to 9.1% YoY in June. In the latter, the moderation will be milder, from 2.7% YoY to 2.6% YoY. Also this week, interest rates are expected to increase by 25bp in Colombia.
