Monthly GDP figure for Peru confirms weakness in economic activity, with growth rates far below potential

In Brazil, retail sales were in line with a slight recovery of the economy in 3Q14 after the recession in the early part of the year. Among other indicators, today we are awaiting the monetary policy decision in Chile, where we expect a cut in the policy rate in the context of the current economic weakness and the transitory nature of recent inflation data.
