New 5-year plan and budget set to support China’s growth
China’s long-awaited 12th Five-Year Plan was endorsed by the National People’s Conference (NPC) held during March 5-14, along with the 2011 budgetary plan. One of the key objectives is to rebalance the economy toward domestic consumption, and away from external demand and investment.
