Eurozone | Headline inflation surprised to the downside in December and remains stable
Summary
Headline inflation remained stable at 0.2% Y/Y in December. The more volatile components (energy and unprocessed food) especially surprised, although core inflation also moderated in 0.1pp to 0.8% Y/Y.
