- Fifteen of the twenty-one activity subsectors reported production levels below their January 2025 level. Notably, the manufacture of petroleum products was 18.1% above that level.
- In May, the manufacture of computer and communication equipment recorded the highest level of utilized capacity (95.6%), in contrast to the manufacture of leather products, which had the lowest (57.8%).
- Looking ahead, we expect a gradual improvement in sectors associated with AI value chains in the U.S., alongside more moderate growth in traditional manufacturing segments.
