Europe Economic Outlook. Third Quarter 2011

Strong global growth in the outlook with politically-driven downside risks. A long-term fiscal consolidation plan in the US is needed. Mostly short-term fixes are not enough. It is high time to address solvency concerns in Europe. Positive measures taken on July 21 need to be advanced further, as financial tensions become more systemic.
