• The year 2022 had a good economic dynamism thanks to the momentum of domestic demand. The Colombian economy is already showing signs of deceleration that will continue until 2023.
• Financial markets have been affected by increased external volatility. Going forward, they will continue to depend on external monetary policy decisions, geopolitical conditions, the domestic behavior of fiscal and external deficits, and the type of financing received by the latter.
• Colombia will face the challenges of the global and domestic slowdown: it must build on the strengths of its economy and reduce current vulnerabilities.
