Mexico Weekly| Banxico to keep its monetary policy on hold as it awaits the Fed’s decision

We think that it will keep policy moves on hold based on the following reasoning: the federal funds rate was held unchanged, there are no signs of pressures on prices, economic activity continues to grow at a moderate rate and by less than expected, thus far peso depreciation has had no significant effect on prices
