Spain | National accounting in 2Q confirms growth stabilization, despite uncertainty

Summary

The growth of the Spanish economy remained stable in 2!16 (0,8% QoQ) improving the expectations which pointed at a slowdown. Both domestic and external private demand contributed to quarterly GDP growth (with 0,5pp y 0,6pp), whereas public demand, mainly consumption expenditure, substracted 0,3pp to the activity's dynamism
